Carlsbad Flower Fields 2021

50 acres of Tecolote Ranunculus bloom for about 6-8 weeks each year making up one of most vibrant flower fields in Carlsbad, California. This annual burst of color is a result of 85 years of floral cultivation beginning with Luther Gage. Thanks to cooperative efforts between the land’s owner, the grower, The City of Carlsbad, The Carlsbad Agricultural Improvement Fund and the California Coastal Conservancy, this colorful hillside will continue to welcome visitors for years to come.
