Superbloom 2019

Spring has finally arrived. After months of rain and a slightly cool winter, SoCal is now covered in bright yellow, orange, and purple gifts from nature. This is commonly known as a “super bloom”, a rare phenomenon in which an area’s number of wildflowers exceeds typical spring blooms—in this case, millions of tiny blooms popping up in typically barren deserts and canyons.

This year I had the chance of visiting Lake Elsinore and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The colors were breathtaking!
